Fear Not!

Easter-Worship-Background-2012If God be for us, who can be against us? Hopefully, this will be a comfort to us in that with God, we have nothing to fear if we know Him. Oftentimes, we fail to remember that the LORD is there to pick us up when we fall. We could be going through the toughest trial ever, and feel the God cannot help. Yes, He can! He will, if we let Him. It takes faith to allow the LORD to work in our lives. These are things we already know and are experiencing in our lives.

We must realize that nothing escapes the LORD! There may be times when persecution would arise in our lives (possibly at various levels), but we must remember that the LORD will never abandon us. When we are weak, then He is strong. God will always protect His own. He brought us through trials before, and He will do so again! Why should we be surprised? When we follow the LORD’s will for our lives, He will always give us a way out of whatever horrible circumstance we may be in. God will also give us reminders that He knows what the devil has planned.

It is very easy for us not to see beyond the circumstances. Satan wastes no time in trying to stifle our faith or reassurance the LORD provides. Remember, we’re not alone in this fight. We might be surrounded by all kinds of turmoil, but we must remember that our God is greater than that! We must guard against getting burnt out in the battle. When we are faced with these trials that seem so rough, even if something tragic were to take place, we must remember that God has already given us the victory.

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33

Do not give up! Get a hold of the LORD who will never leave us nor forsake us! Whatever the trial, we must remember to pray and seek out the LORD’s power and never cease to have faith in Him. Pray without ceasing…we don’t want to get to the point where we begin to lean on our own understanding and not ever consider the LORD’s will for our lives. We end up ceasing to seek him out. God will always show us His will through His word. Have we stopped reading or heeding it? We can be thankful to know that we have a man of God whom we can easily run to for counsel.

Numbers don’t matter with God. One with God is a majority in any crowd. The LORD becomes our refuge and our greatest offense when we are in His will. We are strong when leaning on Christ. We walk by faith, not by sight.
